French club "Angers" president Said Chabane is suspected of sexual harassment. As reported by the RMC portal, the football official was detained by the French police.
Sources say that a female employee of the "Angers" club complained about the inappropriate behavior of 55-year-old S. Chabane. Two other women also accused the president of harassment.
S. Chabane is suspected of allegedly constantly touching women's buttocks, breasts, and intimate body parts without their consent. The victims are aged between 25 and 30.
The "Angers" club confirmed the president's arrest. S. Chabane himself claims to be innocent and intends to defend his honor in court. He is ready to cooperate with the authorities.
"Angers" club is competing in the "Ligue 1" championship and currently holds the 13th place after 23 rounds.
