The President of the Italian Football Federation Gabriele Gravina believes that the upcoming European Championship must be postponed. "We are waiting for the UEFA meeting scheduled for Tuesday and the future decision that will be presented by President Aleksandar Čeferin. We want the international competition calendar to be reviewed, as the completion of national championships and cup tournaments has become a priority in various leagues," explained G. Gravina. "The first goal, if the situation in our country allows, is to finish the 'Serie A' championships as planned. If not, then three possibilities will be considered, but we, as the Italian Football Federation, will make the final decision. Playing knockout matches was one of the first proposals made, especially if time is pressing on us. The number of participating teams will be determined by a formula, but it would be an interesting event for everyone and would mean an intriguing end to the season," added the director.
