Rumors have spread in the French press that one of the best country's footballers, Antoine Griezmann, already knows his next career stop.
"Le 10 Sport" reports that the 26-year-old striker has already reached a verbal agreement with Barcelona and will join the Catalans this coming summer.
Manchester United was the main candidate to acquire the Frenchman. It is not excluded that the "Red Devils" could still sign a contract with the player, but the latest press reports indicate that A. Griezmann is inclined to move to Barcelona.
A. Griezmann was prepared to leave Madrid's Atletico already last summer, but due to the club's transfer ban, the player stayed in Madrid and signed a new contract with a release clause of 200 million euros.
However, it was clear even when signing the contract that the footballer would most likely only stay in the Atletico ranks for one more season.
This season has not been very successful for the Frenchman - in 13 matches played, he has scored only three goals and provided the same number of assists.
