"Daily Telegraph" reports that London's "Arsenal" is not planning to dismiss Arsene Wenger, but understands that the coach's career is coming to an end.
Currently the longest-serving manager among the current "Premier" league coaches, A. Wenger has a contract with "Arsenal" until the summer of 2019.
It is said that the "Gunners" will not offer an extension to the contract for a longer period, therefore they have already started looking for possible successors.
One of the main candidates is Mikel Arteta, who has spent a considerable amount of time in the past playing for "Arsenal" and is now working as a coach with Pep Guardiola at "Manchester City".
M. Arteta is gaining experience from the best and soon should start his coaching career himself."
