Press: "Arsenal" leads the race for M. Hummels's signature

In England, the newspaper "Daily Star" reports that London's "Arsenal" is close to acquiring Borussia Dortmund's center-back Mats Hummels.

According to reports, the 25-year-old footballer is also being actively pursued by Manchester United, but the "Gunners" are currently leading the race for the German's signature.

In the summer, Arsene Wenger lost Thomas Vermaelen, and several defenders in the team have suffered injuries, so in January the coach from France is determined to sign a new player.

However, "Arsenal" will have to pay a significant amount of money, as the "Man Utd" team is not afraid to spend money on new players and may lure the "Gunners" owners first.
