It is reported that Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge is ready to leave his current team this summer, and the reason for that is the criticism he receives for his physical condition and dedication to training.
According to Sami Mokbel of the Daily Mail, the English national team forward believes that changes would be beneficial for him, and the player himself is ready to quickly return to his playing rhythm and achieve the form he demonstrated before.
In the 2013-2014 season, Sturridge scored 21 goals in 29 matches and attracted the attention of many clubs. However, he then played only 24 games, and talking about his player, Jurgen Klopp said: "He needs to understand what pain and serious pain are."
This is not the only reason the player receives criticism. Journalist Joseph Musker of GianlucaDiMarzio.com recently stated that Klopp is not happy with Sturridge's attitude during training and is considering the possibility of selling the forward.
Former Liverpool star Dietmar Hamann accused the Englishman of choosing to "play when he wants," and such statements seem to have frustrated Sturridge, who is planning to change jobs this summer.
Although the player's talent and abilities on the field should attract teams willing to take a risk on acquiring this forward, his health problems and lack of motivation for training prevent Liverpool from expecting to receive more than a £20 million fee.
