With an increasing number of coronavirus cases among "Serie A" players, the possibility of extending the championship is steadily approaching. As reported by "La Repubblica," the medical staff of most teams are convinced that the suspension of the Italian championship will be extended for another month. This would mean that "Serie A" would run from May 3 to June 30. So far, it has been revealed that eleven championship players have contracted the dangerous disease - seven from Genoa's "Sampdoria," three from "Fiorentina," and one from Turin's "Juventus." It is believed that before May 3, teams will have two weeks of training camps. The championship will end on June 30, as some athletes' contracts expire by that date.
