"Manchester United" club has made the first offer, aiming for more than 42 million euros for Madrid's "Real" midfielder Sergio Ramos, according to "The Independent" and "Daily Mail".
On Wednesday morning, the 29-year-old footballer and his agent met with "Real" executive director Jose Angel Sanchez and informed about their desire to leave the team.
Although the amount offered by "United" is not as high as "Real" would like, the Spanish club considers the offer as "serious" and it is the first step towards the negotiation table.
However, the Spanish press insists that "Real" will not let S. Ramos go for less than 100 million euros.
