"The Sun" reports that the Manchester club has managed to agree on the details of a new contract with the Spaniard.
It is said that one of the main team players will sign a five-year contract just before the World Cup in Russia.
De Gea will earn 350,000 pounds sterling per week and in terms of earnings will only be surpassed by forward Alexis Sanchez (505,000).
