Press: R. Koeman will take over the wheel of "Southampton"

The English media reported that the Southampton team will soon have a new strategist. Dutch legend Ronald Koeman is expected to take over as the head coach of the "Saints" team after Mauricio Pochettino's move to Tottenham. The 51-year-old specialist left Rotterdam's Feyenoord club after the season, where they finished second in the Eredivisie, and is expected to take the reins of the Southampton team. R. Koeman spent most of his coaching career in the Netherlands, where he coached Vitesse, Ajax, PSV Eindhoven, AZ Alkmaar, and Feyenoord clubs. The strategist also worked with Lisbon's Benfica and Valencia teams. The Dutchman ended his professional football career in 1997. Throughout his playing career, R. Koeman spent seven years with Barcelona, as well as playing for Feyenoord, PSV, Ajax, and Groningen clubs.
