In 15 minutes from history repeating: scenes after the "Real" and "Bayern" final © PA

On June 1, the Champions League final will take place in the legendary "Wembley" stadium. Unexpectedly, on Tuesday, Dortmund's "Borussia" team made it to the final, and on Wednesday, Madrid's "Real" team entered the final, preventing history from repeating itself.

The Royal club dramatically defeated Munich's "Bayern" team with substitute Joselu in the last 15 minutes of the semifinal. In 2013, the Champions League final took place at "Wembley" stadium between "Bayern" and "Borussia," coming very close to history repeating itself.

Joselu, who scored a "double," became the hero of "Real," and tears were unstoppable after the final referee's whistle.

Carlo Ancelotti, the coach of "Real," sang the team's anthem with the fans gathered at the "Santiago Bernabeu" stadium.

On a more somber note, this season was the first for Bayern since 2011-12 when they failed to win any trophies. In 2012, they lost in the Champions League final after a dramatic penalty shootout to "Chelsea."

Harry Kane ended another season of his professional career without a trophy.

There are more interesting stories. Alphonso Davies scored his first goal in the Champions League, but in the end, it meant nothing.

Looking ahead to the upcoming Champions League final. For the first time, one of the "ears" of this prestigious tournament will be lifted by a Turkish player. Arda Guleras plays for Real, while Salihas Ozcanas is in the Borussia team.
