London's "Chelsea" can very well save their season.
In the away game, Mauricio Pochettino's team beat "Brighton" 2-1 and moved closer to 6th place in the Premier League.
In the 34th minute, Cole Palmer put "Chelsea" ahead.
In the 64th minute, Christopher Nkunku doubled the lead after coming on as a substitute.
Reece James received a red card for a reckless play just before added time. Soon after, Danny Welbeck narrowed the lead, but "Brighton" couldn't find the equalizer.
If in the last round "Chelsea" can secure at least one point, they will secure a spot in the Conference League. In case "Manchester United" loses in the FA Cup final, the London club will go to the Europa League.
