Phil Foden has received serious recognition.

On Saturday, before the crucial round, the English Premier League announced that the Player of the Year became Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden.

The attacking midfielder scored 17 goals and made 7 assists in the Premier League this season. He scored very important goals in the Manchester derby, matches against Brentford, Aston Villa, Everton.

Manchester City will host West Ham United at home tomorrow. They would secure their fourth consecutive Premier League title with a victory.

The Young Player of the Year became Chelsea player Cole Palmer.
