“Manchester City” on Sunday secured their fourth consecutive title in the English Premier League.

After winning yet another Premier League trophy with the Manchester City team, head coach Pep Guardiola openly spoke about the fact that the next season is likely to be his last with this team.

“The reality is that I am closer to leaving than extending the contract. I have talked with the club that I want to stay here for the next season, and during that time we will discuss the future,” Guardiola said.

“I have a contract for the next season and I will definitely be here. Sometimes I feel tired, but certain moments make up for it. I always try to create new challenges for myself.

“It is true that sometimes it is hard to find inner motivation, because it seems like we have already achieved everything,” Guardiola said after the triumph.

The Spaniard's contract with City will expire after the next season.
