“Manchester United” finished the worst season in the history of the team in the English Premier League on Sunday.
“The Red Devils” managed to beat “Brighton” with a score of 2:0 in the final round, but it was not enough to move up from the eighth place.
After the final game, “Man Utd” coach Erik ten Hag admitted that such a result does not satisfy the club and hoped that they would finish on a much better note at the upcoming FA Cup final next Saturday.
“This result does not satisfy us. We should have finished in a higher position.
We collected 60 points and ended up eighth. A couple of seasons ago, the team finished seventh with 58 points. Nevertheless, our result is unsatisfactory.
I hope we will have a productive week and be ready to fight for the FA Cup,” E. ten Hag said.
