The Madrid leadership officially informed that this summer they will abandon the loud preseason promotional tournaments they have been promoting so far, and will pay more attention to proper preparation for the new season.

"This year we will prioritize the club's sports section, so we will not organize a promotional tour," said Miguel Angel Arroyo, a representative of "Real" board.

"We will have the longest preseason preparation, we will train in our country. This way we will avoid fatigue that occurs after long journeys," explained the representative of the Madrid club.

"Real" agreed to play only one more match - after this season, on June 19, in Israel, the Royal club will play friendly matches with a joint Israeli-Palestinian team.

When Florentino Perez held the position of club president, the Madrid team often organized tours in the Far East or North America before the season. Because of that, coaches and players have repeatedly mentioned the negative impact of such preparation during the season.
