Sports fans hear about another football legend retiring and heading into a well-deserved rest.
As Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio wrote, the coach who decided to hang up his boots for good is his compatriot Claudio Ranieri.
The 72-year-old strategist actively worked in football until the end of this season and coached the "Serie A" club "Cagliari".
C. Ranieri achieved the biggest success of his career in 2016 when he created a sensation in England with the humble "Leicester City" team and won the "Premier League" championship.
He also won the Spanish Cup with Valencia in 1999, the Intertoto Cup in 1998, and the UEFA Super Cup in 2004.
C. Ranieri started his coaching career in 1986 and over the years, he has managed teams like Turin's "Juventus," "Roma," "Napoli," and Milan's "Inter."
