President Silvio Berlusconi has rejected the possibility of inviting Turin goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon to the team this summer.
The Rossoneri are still celebrating their victory in the UEFA Champions League final, but the former Prime Minister of Italy and one of the country's richest men is already making plans for the next season.
Meanwhile, the goalkeeper of the Italian national team has long been linked with the Milan team, despite Juventus managing to escape from the Serie B league and will compete among the strongest teams again in autumn.
However, S. Berlusconi seems to trust the Brazilian goalkeeper Dida, who is currently guarding the Milan goal, and has no intention of significantly strengthening this position.
"Buffon? No, you can forget about that," he insisted. "He is a great goalkeeper, but we have a lot of faith in Dida, with whom we recently extended our contract."
