In the 15th round of the „TOPsport A Lyga“, Kaunas district team „Hegelmann“ secured a victory in front of their own fans. In the match against „Džiugas“, the home team woke up a bit too late - a late goal by Nino Noordanus did not save the visitors, resulting in a loss with a score of 1:2 (0:0).

At the beginning of the match, Jurgis Jankauskas took a dangerous shot, and after more than 20 minutes Denis Bošnjak had a good opportunity, but he couldn't control the ball, and Matas Vareika's attempt was stopped by Ivanas Baturinas.

In the 39th minute, „Džiugas“ came very close to scoring - N. Noordanus' shot shook the goalpost, and on the next attack M. Vareika went forward and deceived the opponents' goalkeeper, passing the ball to Michael Thuque, who scored above the goal.

After the 15th round, both teams exchanged positions in the table - the „Hegelmann“ club has collected 26 points and is in second place, while „Džiugas“ has one point less and ranks third.
