One of the main candidates to experience changes in the club this summer, striker Craig Bellamy, caught the attention of Birmingham's head coach Martin O'Neill.
The Welsh national team footballer worked together with this coach in Glasgow a few years ago and still maintains friendly relations.
In the second part of the season, C.Bellamy failed to establish himself in the starting lineup of Liverpool, and he watched the UEFA Champions League final only from the bench, despite the fact that the English team was trailing for a long time.
"It would be painful to watch the final match from the sidelines. Especially since this season was not particularly good for me," C.Bellamy said earlier.
The 27-year-old striker, whose services are in high demand, is also being pursued by Blackburn, who have the opportunity to buy out his contract for 7 million pounds, as C.Bellamy played for this team in the 2005-2006 season.
Wearing Liverpool's jersey, he played 27 matches in the English Premier League, scoring 7 goals. In the Champions League, he managed to score twice.
