One of the most famous Italian defenders Leonardo Bonucci decided to end his professional career.
It is reported that the 37-year-old player played his last match yesterday, helping Istanbul's "Fenerbahce" team to defeat the "Istanbulsport" club with a score of 6:0.
The veteran appeared on the field in the 64th minute and just before the final whistle of the referee, he managed to receive a yellow card.
In the Turkish championship, the Istanbul team finished second, three points behind the "Galatasaray" team.
During his long career, L. Bonucci represented clubs such as Turin's "Juventus", "Milan" or Frankfurt's "Eintracht".
He became a "Serie A" champion eight times, twice finished second in the Champions League tournament, and triumphed with the national team at the 2020 European Championship.
It was great being part of this fantastic family. Forever Fener. 💛💙 pic.com/OonRSs2JwY
