After a long 39-year break, the "Nurnberg" team won another trophy on Saturday in the German Cup final after extra time, defeating the Bundesliga champions - "Stuttgart" club 3-2. It is worth noting that the Stuttgart team played almost half an hour with ten men.

In the match held in Berlin, the first goal was scored after about twenty minutes, when Cacau scored. "Nurnberg" quickly equalized and a few minutes later M.Mintal restored the balance with a precise shot from close range. "Stuttgart" worsened their situation even more when Cacau received a red card in the 31st minute and left his team mates to play with ten men.

"Nurnberg" managed to take advantage of the numerical superiority gained and at the beginning of the second half, M.Engelhardt, left unmarked in the penalty area, put his club ahead. "Stuttgart" equalized just before the end of the second half, when P.Pardo converted an earned penalty from eleven meters.

However, during extra time, the Bundesliga champions couldn't hold on - in the 109th minute, a fabulous shot from J.Kristiansen from 25 meters snatched the victory for the "Nurnberg" team.
