Successfully appearing in France this season and earning a ticket to the UEFA Champions League, the club has started preparing for the next season and on Monday acquired two promising players: defender J.Faty and Vincent Gragnic.
The defender of the French U-21 national team, capable of playing as a right-back or defensive midfielder, J.Faty moved to Marseille from .23, where he spent his entire career, playing 123 French league matches. "My versatility can suit Marseille," J.Faty told journalists.
V.Gragnic is a less known player, as he has only played in French second division clubs during his career. The 23-year-old player appeared in 31 matches this season for "Libourne-Saint-Seurin" and scored six goals.
Both players have signed three-year contracts with the Marseille club.
In addition, Marseille reached an agreement with Berlin's "Hertha", which finally acquired Argentine forward Christian Gimenez, who was previously on loan with the team.
The Marseille team also came close to an agreement with Albania's national team captain and one of the team's leaders, Lorik Cana, who is expected to extend his contract for three more seasons.
