Before the first match of the tournament between the Germans and the Scots, the fan was watching the surrounding teams and suddenly got hit by a ball struck by Niclas Fullkrug.

The medics diagnosed the fan with a broken hand, causing him to immediately go to a medical facility.

Later on, Kai was delighted that N. Fullkrug didn't forget about him and sent a gift package to the national team fan, which included his own wristbands.

A member of the national team fan club, Kai Flathmann, broke his hand after being accidentally hit by a Niclas Füllkrug strike during the warm-up for the Scotland game. The fan was sitting in the front row next to the goal at Allianz Arena
