"TOPsport A lygos" tournament table saw a change at the bottom between two teams. In the 18th round, Vilnius district team "TransINVEST" defeated the champion "Panevezys" with a score of 3:0 (2:0).

In the first half, the hosts surprisingly dominated. In the 12th minute, after Robertas Mazanis made a mistake under pressure, Henrique Devensas seized a good chance and scored a goal.

Throughout the first half, Daniel Bukelis, playing his second match in the "TOPsport A League," had to work and saved his team a couple of times. Misaki Sato hit the post, and Linas Pilibaitis converted a penalty earned by Ryonosuke Ohori in the 33rd minute.

"Panevezys" only had their first shot at the end of the half when Jeffrey Sarpong fired from a distance. Vilnius district team had to make a forced substitution - Sergijus Melaschenko's injury saw Ernestas Černiavskis make his debut in the Lithuanian championship.

During the break, the away team's coach Stijn Vreven made three substitutions, but it didn't change the outcome - Malcom Cacutalua was substituted after making the last hope mistake in the 61st minute. Seven minutes later, M. Sato scored a goal, missing a great opportunity later to score the fourth goal for the team.

"Panevezys" had two good chances, but Lino Klimavicius and Ignas Venckus' attempts were successfully stopped by E. Černiavskis.

The champions dropped to the last place with 15 points, while "TransINVEST" footballers have one more point and climbed to the 9th position.
