On the seventh day of the European Championship, the teams of Slovenia and Serbia met.

The match ended in a draw with a score of 1:1.

In the first half, the Slovenians were much more active, often not allowing the Serbians to cross to the other side of the field.

As the match progressed, the intensity of the game increased significantly, with more dangerous moments emerging.

Towards the end of the first half, a great opportunity to take the lead was presented to the Slovenians by Benjamin Šeško, who plays for "RB Leipzig," but his shot flew over the crossbar.

Meanwhile, in the 42nd minute, the Serbians created a dangerous moment when Jan Oblak saved Aleksandar Mitrović's shot. However, if the goal had been scored, it would have been checked in the VAR room because his teammate who passed the ball may have been offside.

The Serbians started the second half more actively, and in the 47th minute A. Mitrović had a chance to score, but the Slovenian goalkeeper saved the dangerous shot.

The first goal of the match fell in the 69th minute. It was scored by the Slovenian defender Žan Karničnik.

Just a few minutes later, a shot from Aleksandar Mitrović shook the goal frame, giving the Serbians a great opportunity to equalize the score.

Almost the entire remaining time, the Slovenians held on and received a fatal corner kick, after which in the 90+5th minute Luka Jović equalized the score with a header. The end of the match was immediately announced after the goal.

After these drawn matches, the Serbians scored their first point, while the Slovenians have two points.
