The Swiss national team and Bayer Leverkusen's goalkeeper Granit Xhaka continues his fantastic performances only in his national team after the end of the season.

The Swiss defeated the Italians with a score of 2:0 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the European Championship.

Meanwhile, G. Xhaka became the Bundesliga champions with Bayer last season, won the German Cup, and suffered a single defeat in the UEFA Europa League final to Atalanta Bergamo.
