With the Belgian national team still in the fight at the European Football Championship, Kevin De Bruyne, approaching the upcoming season, will enter the final year of his contract at Manchester City.
Although there were rumors that the 33-year-old Belgian could leave the "City" this summer, the midfielder himself confirmed that he is not planning to change teams, and in the near future he should sit down at the negotiating table with representatives of "City".
"I am looking forward to a calm summer. I will enjoy my vacation, after which I will return to Manchester City," De Bruyne said in an interview with HLN.
"I think that in the near future there will be talks with the representatives of 'City' about a new contract," De Bruyne added.
The Belgian has been defending the honor of Manchester City since 2015.
