The European Championship quarter-final match between the teams of Portugal and Slovenia became famous due to the performance of the latter team's goalkeeper Jan Oblak.

Throughout the match, the 31-year-old 188 cm tall footballer bravely defended his compatriots' goal and during extra time even managed to withstand a penalty kick by the opponents' leader Cristiano Ronaldo.

After the match, it was noted that J. Oblak and former Valencia representative Diego Alves are included in an exclusive list.

The Slovenian and the Brazilian are the only goalkeepers who have managed to stop penalty kicks by both C. Ronaldo and Lionel Messi.

D. Alves, in general, became a nightmare for the Portuguese in Spain - throughout his career, he saved three penalty kicks.

Currently, L. Messi's accuracy in penalty kicks for the national team is 82.8% (24 out of 29), while C. Ronaldo's is 71.4% (20 out of 28).
