Coaches leading national teams usually cannot boast the same salaries as the coaches of the biggest clubs. However, some of them earn very large sums.
At the top of the list is Gareth Southgate, who earns 5.8 million euros per year. He is followed by Germany's coach Julian Nagelsmann.
Roberto Martinez earns 4 million euros per year. Not far from the Spaniard is World Champion Didier Deschamps, whose salary reaches 3.8 million per year. At least 3 million is earned by Ronald Koeman and Luciano Spaletti.
After the Dutch and Italian in the list, there is a certain drop - other coaches earn 1.5 million or less.
For example, the coach of the Spanish national team, finalists of the European Championship, earns just 1.25 million euros per year and ranks only 13th in the list.
