Gareth Southgate, who led England to the final of the European Football Championship for the second time in a row, will receive a new contract offer.
Journalist Fabrizio Romano announces that the English Football Association (FA) wants to continue seeing the 53-year-old specialist at the helm of the national team.
It is added that the performance of the England national team in the final match against Spain will not influence the FA's decision.
Southgate's current contract is valid until the end of this year.
