"Manchester United” club defender Jonny Evans will continue to play for the "Manchester United” team this season.

The 36-year-old defender from Northern Ireland officially extended his contract with this club until 2025.

"Man United” is also close to acquiring another defender, Matthijs de Ligt, from Munich’s "Bayern” team.

J. Evans returned to the "Red Devils” club last year after a career stint with the "Leicester City” team.
