Argentinian Vice President on Scandal: French People Refuse to Recognize the Truth © Getty Images via AFP

Argentinian vice president defended the country's football team and its player Enzo Fernandez, who got caught in a racist scandal.

Victoria Villarruel said on social media:

"No colonialist country will scare us because of a football song or because we tell the truths they don't want to admit.

Stop pretending to be outraged, hypocrites. Enzo, I am with you."

It is worth noting that after winning the "Copa America" tournament, Argentinians remembered the World Cup final against France and sang:

"They play for France, but they are from Angola. Their mothers are from Cameroon, and their fathers are from Nigeria, but their passports say they are French."
