The English FA is actively looking for a coach for the men's national team.
After the controversial departure of Gareth Southgate, several well-known specialists wanted to coach the "Three Lions" team.
This week, names like Thomas Tuchel, Eddie Howe, and even England women's national team representative Sarina Wiegman were circulating in the press.
However, the FA is aiming for the most famous name.
As reported by the "Mirror" and other portals, the English are likely to appoint an interim coach soon, and hire "Man City" victories guru Pep Guardiola next summer, when he will no longer be under contract with the "citizens".
Earlier, J. Guardiola had told ESPN that he dreams of coaching a powerful national team in a major tournament - either the World Cup or the European Championships.
