PSG started negotiations for the acquisition of J. Neves

The Paris "Saint Germain" team seriously aimed at Lisbon's "Benfica" security Joao Neves.

According to various sources, the French offered 70 million euros for the 19-year-old talent.

However, "Benfica" would like a higher sum.

Lisbon team president Manuel Rui Costa confirmed to the press about the received offer.

"Yes, we are considering it and negotiations are currently underway regarding the final amount. We never said that we would let the player leave for only 120 million euros."

Earlier, J. Neves managed to agree on the details of a personal contract with PSG.
