Chief coach Marcelo Gallardo is returning to his hometown club "River Plate".

The specialist will work with this team until December of next year.

The 48-year-old coach trained the Saudi Arabian team "Al-Ittihad" last season.

Prior to that, M. Gallardo worked at the aforementioned legendary Argentine club "River Plate" from 2014 to 2022.

In his club career, Marcelo Gallardo played for teams such as "River Plate", "Monaco", and PSG.
