After a week-long decision, Conor Gallagher has accepted an offer from Madrid's Atlético club.

As reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Englishman also had the option to extend his contract with London’s Chelsea, but ultimately agreed to the "mattress makers'" terms.

The 24-year-old midfielder reached a verbal agreement for a five-year contract.

Atlético will pay 40 million euros for C. Gallagher.

Conor Gallagher has been a part of the "aristocrats" team since 2019, but played two full seasons at this club, featuring in 95 matches and scoring 10 goals.
