The head coach of Lisbon's "Benfica" club, Roger Schmidt, after the first match of the Portuguese championship, which the "Eagles" lost 0:2 to the "Famalicao" team, confirmed that David Neres wants to leave:

"I can confirm that D. Neres wants to leave our club.

There are specific talks with a new team. The clubs are communicating with each other, and I need players who will give their utmost effort."

David Neres has been playing for the "Benfica" team since 2022 and has scored 17 goals in 83 matches.
