On Saturday afternoon, four matches took place in the English Premier League. In one of them, Arsenal fought for their first victory, but the other matches were also filled with drama.

Newcastle struggled to achieve a victory against Southampton – 1:0.

Despite Fabiano Schar's red card, which he received at the beginning of the match, the "Magpies" celebrated their victory. The Swiss defender headbutted the opposing forward Ben Brereton Diaz. The winning goal was scored by Joelinton after a pass from Alexander Isak.

Brighton unexpectedly thrashed Everton 3:0.

Goals from Kaoru Mitoma, Danny Welbeck, and Simone Adingra secured the victory for the visitors.

Ashley Young received a red card for a last-ditch foul among the "Iris" ranks. Meanwhile, in the visitors' squad, James Milner set a Premier League record by starting his 23rd season in the Premier League.

Nottingham Forest drew 1:1 with Bournemouth. However, the match was most notable for the horrific injury suffered by young Brazilian Danilo. The midfielder, who sustained a leg injury, will likely miss the rest of the season.
