In the trophy collection of the Leverkusen club "Bayer" - the fifth trophy.

On Saturday, in the German Supercup meeting, "Bayer" drew 2:2 with "Stuttgart". After 90 minutes, a series of penalties took place, where the German champions were stronger.

The Leverkusen team played for an hour with one man down - in the 37th minute, Martinas Terrier received a red card for a rough foul. However, before that, each team had scored one goal - Victoras Boniface and Enzo Millot marked their names on the scoreboard.

V. Boniface was sacrificed after Terrier's expulsion. The Nigerian striker was replaced by Jonathan Tah.

In the 63rd minute, Deniz Undav put the "Stuttgart" team ahead. They were approaching victory.

However, "Bayer" showed their character from last season. In the 88th minute, Patrick Schick, who had just come onto the pitch, equalized the score.

In the penalty shootout, Frans Kratzig and Silas were inaccurate, which meant "Stuttgart" did not end their 17-year title drought, while "Bayer" celebrated their third title in four months.
