The Madrid "Real" team did not want to boost their budget with a huge sum of money.
As reported by UOL and other portals, the royal team rejected a generous offer from an unnamed Saudi Arabian club for defender Eder Militao.
The Middle Eastern team was willing to pay 100 million euros for the 26-year-old Brazilian, and the final deal amount could have grown to 170 million euros in the future.
In the last season, E. Militao was recovering from a serious injury and played only 10 matches in the "La Liga" championships.
He arrived at "Real" in 2019, when the "Porto" team received a compensation of 50 million euros.
