The season in Germany has started with the DFB Pokal (German Cup).

Bayern, in the first round of the tournament, decisively defeated Ulm with a score of 4:0.

Michael Olise, making his debut with the new team, provided his first assist just one minute after coming onto the field as a substitute. The goals for the Bavarians were scored by Harry Kane, Kingsley Coman, and Thomas Muller (x2).

Meanwhile, RB Leipzig secured victory with goals from their young talents. In a triumphant 4:1 match against RW Essen, goals were scored by Lois Openda, Benjamin Šeško, Antonio Nusa, and Xavi Simons.

On Sunday, Edvinas Girdvainis had minutes in the German Cup. He appeared during extra time when his team, Saundhausen, held a 2:2 score against Koln. The visitors scored a decisive goal at the end of extra time, in the 116th minute, leaving the Lithuanian without a chance for the next round.
