The drama surrounding Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher seems to have come to an end in recent weeks.

Reports suggest that the 24-year-old Englishman has been granted permission to move to Atletico Madrid.

This transfer became possible after the Spaniards sold forward Joao Felix to a Premier League club.

Atletico will pay €42 million for C. Gallagher.

The Englishman has been with Chelsea since 2019, making 95 appearances and scoring 10 goals for the team.
