Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes becomes the new captain of the "Magpies" team.

I always said that I want to write my name into the history of this club. I can't wait to do my best for both the team and the fans.

The 26-year-old Brazilian has been playing for Newcastle since 2021 and has scored 17 goals in 108 appearances.

Prior to this, B. Guimaraes played for the Lyon team.
