Mikel Merino has left the San Sebastián club "Real Sociedad" and officially transferred to London’s "Arsenal".
The midfielder joins the "Gunners" for 32 million euros plus 5 million euros in bonuses.
The Spaniard will play for the English club for four years, with an option to extend the contract for another year.
M. Merino has been with the Basque team since 2018 and scored 27 goals in 242 matches.
The 28-year-old Mikel Merino competed for gold with the Spanish national team in the summer European Championship, playing 178 minutes and scoring one goal.
