Kieran Trippier has retired from the England national team.

This was announced on Thursday by Sky Sports and journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The 33-year-old Englishman made his debut for his country's national team in 2017 and played a total of 54 matches, scoring one goal.

K. Trippier represented England in the 2018 and 2022 World Cups and the 2020 and 2024 European Championships.
