Giovanni Lo Celso has returned to La Liga.
After spending 5 years at Tottenham, the Argentine officially transferred to Sevilla's Real Betis team.
According to the English media, the clubs agreed on a transfer fee of 10 million euros, excluding bonuses.
Moreover, the clubs also agreed on another important matter – the "spurs" will not be left empty-handed. They have reached an agreement with Real Betis over the first option to acquire defensive midfielder Jhonny Cardoso. If the transfer occurs, the fee would be 30 million euros.
The American joined Real Betis from Internacional earlier this year. He had a successful second half of last season in Spain and is being monitored by European giants.
In England, G. Lo Celso struggled to fit in due to his high injury rate.
