Victor Osimhen's story at the "Napoli" club ended very sadly.

On the last day of the transfer window, the Nigerian striker was unable to move to either "Al Ahli" or "Chelsea".

"Chelsea" simply could not reach an agreement with "Napoli" and the player himself in time, while "Al Ahli" opted for the Ivan Toney option.

The Neapolitan club was furious. The management, led by Antonio Conte, decided not to register V. Osimhen for the "Serie A" matches, and he was stripped of his iconic number 9. It is now taken over by the team's newcomer, Romelu Lukaku.

It is worth mentioning that there are still three days left to buy players in Saudi Arabia. The window is also still open in Turkey. However, the chances of the prolific striker getting his transfer are very slim.

Over the last three seasons, V. Osimhen has scored 55 goals in the "Serie A" championship.
