The 29th round of the "TOPsport A League" started in Širvintos, where the local team "TransINVEST" from the Vilnius region hosted guests from the Temporary Capital. "Kauno Žalgiris" defeated the home team players with a decisive score - the match ended 3:0 (1:0).

The first goal was scored in the 9th minute - Oyinlolos Kayode's shot was saved by the goalkeeper, but Edvinas Kloniūnas sent the rebound into the net. In the 20th minute, O. Kayode attacked dangerously again, but Stefan Čupičius prevented him from scoring.

After a little more than half an hour, O. Kayode headed the ball towards Gratas Sirgėdas, but the player, who had a chance, failed to reach the ball, and later his header flew past the goal. In the second half, O. Kayode, who played sharply for the first time, created a dangerous moment near S. Čupičius’ goal, but the goalkeeper handled it flawlessly.

In the 62nd minute, Guilherme Pires took a shot from very far away, the ball flew into the goal on a high trajectory after a deflection, and Deividas Mikelionis had to work to keep the goal clean.

The score doubled in the 71st minute when Gabrielis Nikonovas handled the ball in his own penalty area, and Vilius Armanavičius, standing at the 11-meter mark, was accurate. Fedorovas Černychas sealed the match - in a quick attack, the striker received a pass but didn’t score on the first attempt, but directed the ball into the net on the second try.

After the 29th round, the green and whites have 49 points and are ranked third, while the team led by Aurimas Tamaliūnas, with 26 points, occupies the 8th position in the tournament table.
