Proposal to sign a petition regarding restrictions on concerts at Kaunas stadium

The readers of the portal "EuroFootball.lt" reacted to the latest football scandal in the country.

One of them even created a petition to implement certain safeguards for the possible protection of the Darius and Girėnas Stadium's pitch in the future.

"After long struggles, we built a proper stadium in Kaunas, yet national team matches may still not take place there.

How can that be? Clearly, it's due to a logistical reason, where the stadium is not being used for its intended purpose – to play football.

I propose signing a petition that at least one month before the national team's matches at the Kaunas Darius and Girėnas Arena, concerts should be prohibited to protect the fragile pitch.

When Vilnius builds a stadium, then the ban can be lifted, but for now, we simply have no other choice,” it is written in the petition, which can be signed here.
